This chili gets a blast of heat from chipotle powder and crushed red pepper. If you’re not into hot, start with a half-dose of each and go from there. In case you’re wondering how this recipe compares with its less-demanding sibling: Packaged seasonings and a solo green pepper go into T.C. (Simple), while here you chop onions and garlic and blend your own spices. Also, this version calls for longer simmering to give the flavors more time to develop. On the side, serve Cole Slaw with Peppers or a green salad with Buttermilk Ranch Dressing. Tips: Look for organic or antibiotic-free turkey breast. Always wash your hands and cutting board thoroughly after handling the raw meat. For variety, substitute ground buffalo for the turkey.

I thought spring had finally arrived in Dallas, until temperatures dropped back to the 40-50s. Pack those bikinis back up…. So there I was, cold and stranded inside. And what’s better to cozy up to on a chilly day than a good movie and a bowl of hot chili? That’s right, nothing. I’d never made [...]
