The DIY teriyaki sauce in this recipe tastes better than anything you can get from a bottle, and it’s easier than you might think. Just add minced ginger, garlic, and scallions to a blend of soy sauce, mirin, honey, and toasted sesame oil. Invest 10 minutes and get a lifetime of deliciousness out of it. We love it on salmon, but it’s our default position with almost any protein. Experiment with tofu, pork, beef, poultry, and other kinds of seafood.
