Asparagus Dip
Asparagus Dip
Look, Mom, we've got our hands in our food! How else would we dip crisp-tender asparagus into this salty-sweet creaminess? You can blame Renaissance woman and food blogger Deana Sidney, who sent us the original recipe. (Go to www.lostpastremembered.com.) Although we’ve tweaked it a bit, you still get all of the Asian influences and the luxurious texture. It’s delicious with barely cooked asparagus or broccoli. Serve the veggies at room temperature or chilled. Tip: It’s pretty addictive, so keep that in mind when you’re thinking about quantities.
